Dear Martin,

Hello Martin! It has been quite a long time since i last saw you. How are you doing? You need not ask me as i am as fine as a fiddle! How’s your mum and
dad? I bet they are doing swell, help send my regards to them! I have asked my parents about this matter and they happily accepted your invitation! This is
going to be great! Thanks for the invitation Martin!

My dad said we will travel by plane to Penang as driving would be a fuss. I guess we would arrive around the afternoon. After our arrival , we are hoping
if you and your parents could help pick us up at Bayan Lepas Airport. If not , we can take the airport bus to city centre and you can meet us at the Penang Komtar.
Please tell me whichever is more convenient.

After we meet up , I’m hoping that we can explore around Langkawi Island just the two of us! It will be amazing! We can visit the island cruise and
Sea World as we missed it last time we were here! I heard they even have sharks, you know i love sharks! Moreover , we need to catch up! It has been way too long
since i last saw you.

I almost forgot about Bukit Kayu! They have so much cheap goodies there it is hard to miss! I also heard from a few of my friends who had went there that the
Border Paradise can’t be missed. They also mentioned that the view there is top notch! We certainly cannot miss that .

We can spend the rest of the holidays searching for famous food there, Penang’s food are just way too scrumptious. Our parents could also bring us to enjoy
the tourist sights and visit the beaches. We can relive our dreams as a young kid by building sand castles! It will be fun!

I should stop now , my mum is calling me to dinner. Write back to me as soon as you can! I can’t wait for the holiday!
Take care.

Your cousin,
Larry

I almost forgot about Bukit Kayu! They have such excellent bargains there that I sould hate to miss out on some shopping there. I heard from a few friends that Border Paradise shouldn’t be missed. They said the view there is top notch! We certainly cannot miss seeing it!

We have to spend some of the holiday enjoying the native cuisine. Penang’s food is known far and wide as utterly delicious. Together with our parents we could enjoy all the sights as well as visiting the beaches. Can you imagine reliving our childhood beach treat of building sand castles? It would be so much fun!

Mum is calling me to dinner. Write back to me as soon as you can and let me know what you think. I’m sure you have some plans too. We all cannot wait for the holiday to begin!

Susan asks…

Where can I find Zippo lighter fluid in Penang, Malaysia?

Can’t seem to find zippo lighter fluid in Penang (Bayan Lepas area)…was wondering if anyone knew where I could find it?
OMG? ZIppo is only a brand? Man…i thought it was some kind of pixie dust lighter fluid you could use to make cars fly! Thanks for clearing that up! Now I feel stupid for filling my petrol tank with Zippo lighter fluid…(no offense NOTATROLL…I just hate it when ppl think they’re doing u a favour but they’re not)

But seriously, perhaps I should’ve been a bit more specific…I’m using the lighter fluid to thin enamel paint (as in enamel paint thinner) – Zippo is a good brand and any ordinary lighter fluid either doesn’t thin the paint well or is too corrosive on the plastic surface I intend to paint. To answer the next reply that will prob arise from this – I’m not planning on using thinner made for enamel paints because it’ll strip the undercoat I’ve laid down before I put on the enamel. Thanks for the help guys.

Penang Local Boy answers:

Hello there,

Are there Wal-mart stores in your part of the world? Wal-mart here carries Zippo fluid.
