You must have applied for renewal by 13 June 2009, now they will not extend ur visa, just will issue u a removal order & ask you to leave the country within certain number of days.

You are out of luck, for time being, u will have to apply for another visa when u are back home to return.

Good luck.

But the love-struck businessman became a littlesuspious and reported the matter to the Penang Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commision (MACC) when a ‘Customs officer’ called him and asked for money. The MACC swung into action and arrested the ‘ English woman’, who happened to be a 24-year-old Malaysian. Flights can now leave Thailand frin U-Tapao Airforce base in Sattahip which is about 2.5 hours fom Bangkok by roads. The Thai government is arranging the transport to go there from Bangkok airport and several hotels in Bangkok including the Central Centrara hotel is a check point for departure issuing boarding pass. There are several other hotel that I don’t remember the name but you should be checking from the government web sites. Tourists can apply for foods and lodging allowance of 2000 baht per day from the government, given some conditions (this comes from my tax).
Otherwise, international airports at Chiang Mai and Phuket are still functioning. Incoming flights can be rerouted to Singapore and from Singapore to Phuket or Chiang Mai, and from there take the trains or the buses, if anyone is insisting on coming still.
Situation is fluid, but it is pretty contained within the vicinities of both airports at Don Muang and Suwannaphum airports although the protesters gave interviews that if they are driven out from those airports by forces they will disrupt Bangkok by jamming all the intersections.
If you are tourists, or foreigners, most of the embassies are advised their citizens to refrain from large crowd. The Thai televisions advise not to go out late at night and avoid the airports area. In fact all streets are not safe at night and when hearing gun shots and explosion, one should dunk flat on the ground, avoid any building, stay in open ground, and head away from the noise.
There were several crashes this morning at Suwannaphume between police forces and the protesters airport but there was no injury. The police chief has been transferred to inactive post last night, and the chief police inspector has been appointed replacing him.
I guess within the next few days the situation will be more clear either way. Good luck.

Penang Local Boy answers:

You are under ” SPECIAL PASS ” to stay in Singapore for max 14 days ! * you may need to REPORT to ICA ( immigration ) every few days ?.check the condition of stay from the special pass , you must follow the special pass term and condition . If not . Cause fine even jail ! IN the next 3 months ( may up to six months ) you will not getting VISA from any Singapore oversea Embassy / Mission ! * if you do not show them valid confirm air ticket to other countries, you will not get you passport back. After 13 days. ICA will ” Detain ” you ! That time is great problem ! With out passport ? How you apply Malaysia Enter Visa ?.( i believe you need Visa to enter Malaysia ).Advice to you better go back home Town ! In 13 days time . Or any countries except Malaysia . ICA will not extend you Special pass ! You will never allow to enter Singapore in next 3 to six months, even as tourist. And you can never get Student Pass any more for life.
** Go Home or Go to Changi Jail ? Is up to you *
